• Head to Skyline Drive for the Shenandoah National Park, just a short drive from Luray RV Resort. Take a scenic hike along one of the park's well-marked trails. We recommend the Whiteoak Canyon Trail, which leads to breathtaking waterfalls. 
• Don't forget to bring a packed lunch for a picnic. Stop by the Massanutten Country Corner farmers market for fresh produce, market goods, and local Shenandoah artisan gifts. 
• Head back to the resort for a calm afternoon at the pool or fishing along the river. If you still have the energy post hiking, pick up a game of pickleball or cornhole overlooking the mountains. 

Saturday Afternoon: Exploring Luray's Treasures 

• After your outdoor adventure, take a short drive to Luray Downtown. Walk along the Luray Hawksbill Greenway, a trail along the Shenandoah River in downtown Luray. 
• Visit unique local shops, the Luray Valley Museum or the Car and Carriage Caravan Museum to see old cars, carriages, and historical items. 
• Enjoy dinner at one of Luray's local restaurants. Visit Blue Wing Frog for Southern food, The Speakeasy for a cozy meal, Watch & Warrant, or IL Vesuvio Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria.

• Start your morning with a cup of coffee on your front patio overlooking the mountain range, then get ready to explore the Massanutten Storybook Trail, a family-friendly short hike with a paved path and beautiful overlook. 
• Drive over to visit Endless Caverns, a six-mile cave system found in 1979. It has incredible limestone formations and underground pools. Take a tour that lasts up to 75 minutes. 
• Spend the afternoon at local orchards or wineries like Wisteria Farm and Vineyard for a delightful above-ground tasting experience. 
• Return to Luray RV Resort for some leisure time. Take a dip in the swimming pool or fish along the river. 

Sunday Afternoon: Leisure and Relaxation 

• Spend your final afternoon enjoying the resort's amenities, including the recreation courts, seasonal waterpark, riverside activities, and outdoor play areas before you checkout.
