    Luray RV Resort is a 100-acre outdoor resort on the Shenandoah River in Luray, Virginia, offering RV sites, cabin rentals, glamping tents, cottages, Airstream rentals, and riverfront tent camping. The resort is open seasonally from March through late November and is located approximately 2 hours from Washington, DC.

  • Where is Luray RV Resort located?

    We're located at 4253 US-211, Luray, VA 22835, in the Shenandoah Valley. We're about 2 hours from Washington, DC, 1.5 hours from Richmond, and less than 15 minutes from Luray Caverns.

  • What are your operating dates?

    Luray RV Resort is open March 20 through November 29 for the 2026 season.

  • Is Luray RV Resort pet-friendly?

    Yes. We welcome well-behaved pets and have an on-site fenced dog park. Pets are allowed at most accommodation types — confirm specific pet policies for cabins and cottages when booking.

  • What is your check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in time is 3:00 p.m., and Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Late Check-out may be available. Please call the property or check in with the front desk to see if your site is eligible.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

  • How do I make a reservation?

    Reservations can be made online through Campspot or by calling (540) 743-5540.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Please note If your reservation is cancelled 14 days prior to your arrival, Luray RV Resort will provide a full refund, less a $20.00 cancellation fee per reservation. If you cancel your reservation within 13 days prior to your arrival, all deposits paid (equal to your first night’s stay) will be consumed as your cancellation fee and your reservation will be released. 


    This cancellation policy may vary for group/extended stay reservations. Please refer to your agreement for your specific cancellation policy.

  • Do you allow campfires?

    Yes. Fire rings are included at RV sites, cottages, and tent sites. Please Note: The resort will follow anu county burn ban regulations.

  • Do you sell firewood on-site?

    Yes, campfire is availbale for purchase at the camp store.
