Cabin Policies

NO VISITORS ALLOWED

Upon arrival, please stop by our check in station to complete your registration. There is an inventory list of all items inside the cabin. Any items missing or found broken will be subject to the cost of the item plus 50% replacement fee. The security waive damage fee does not cover the items missing or broken. 

If you will be arriving after our office is closed we will leave a check in packet for you in the night check in box that is sitting on a bench in front of the check in station. Please fill out and initial the liability waver and rules sheet in your packet and put the copies back in the night check in box in the envelope that says “finished paperwork”. The yellow copy of the rules is yours to keep. There will be car tags for you in the packet, please fill out your license plate number on those on the bottom and display on your rear view mirror or in your window, if you don’t have a mirror. We will also enclose a map for you of the campground with directions to your site.

Please note: Outside firewood is not permitted. All firewood must be purchased on site at Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River. Please also note that day guests are not allowed, only guests that are part of the reservation are permitted in your rental home and permitted use of the Outlanders river camp facilities. 

*Don't forget to bring your paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags as those are not provided. The Deer and Oar cabins have two Queen beds and four Twin beds. The Owl cabin has two queen beds and a queen sleeper couch.

Fire Safety

Please note that only approved fire starters may be used for your camp fire such as pre-packaged fire starters designated for campfires or liquid Charcoal starter. Highly flammable liquids such as gasoline, lighter fluid, denatured alcohol etc. are NOT permitted for fire starting use! Open candles that do not come with included cup type holders are NOT permitted as they are a fire hazard. Fireworks are also not permitted under any circumstance.
